Masacote
Dance Company is an entity of Masacote Entertainment,
a music and dance company featured in 300+
event and media platforms in the Americas,
Asia/Pacific, & Europe. A 7 couple team,
the company performs to music written specifically
for them by the Ritmo Masacote Latin Jazz
Ensemble.
Respected
for their artistry and musicality, the group has
taken the interpretation of the dance to new heights.
In 2006, Masacote Dance Company broke new
ground, becoming the FIRST salsa
dance compay in the WORLD to perform to
their own musical compositions. In 2008, they
became the FIRST Salsa dance company
to produce a scripted theater production
featuring music, dance and magic with everything
done in house.
Members
of the dance company perform and teach around the
world. They are recognized not only for their
performances, but also for their social dancing
on the dancefloor. Appearances include Japan,
Korea, England, Spain, Germany, Bermuda, Puerto
Rico, Cuba, Canada, and throughout the US.
Esteban
studied Colombian folklorico (Cumbia,
Pasillos, and Mapale) since the young age of 6 through
his late teens in both Colombia and as a part of
the Bajucol team in Boston. Since then, he has studied
salsa, capoeira, and gymnastics. Esteban became
a member of Masacote Dance Company in 2006.

and Hacha y Machete. Lori was most recently
invited to become a member of Masacote Dance Company
