Masacote Records is an Indie Label founded in 2006 by Joel Massicot in Boston, MA.  Dedicated to representing artists with a unique sound, the company is quickly making a mark in the music industry, with artists in Latin Jazz, Salsa, Hip Hop, R&B, and Reggae.

Masacote, a word with Cuban origins, is the sound and feeling you get from merging the basic percussion instruments in Salsa.  Moreover, it refers to the fusion of various elements as one.
