A: No. However, if you need a temporary page up until the design is completed, that can be done. Keep in mind that in order to get your website up, hosting takes between 24 and 48 hours to propogate (when the url is accessible by the public).
Q: How long does it take to develop a campaign?
A: Depends on how clear you are with what you want, how long it takes you to give us the work you need, and how busy we are. Time can take between a week to a month, possibly more.
Q: I want business cards, flyers, AND a website. Do you offer package deals?
A: Yes we do! This is what we strongly recommend. Consistency for business is the key! Our mission is to give you a marketing campaign that you will be able to use on everything you choose to market yourself. We also offer individual campaigns and other services. Q: I don't have any good pictures to send you for the site. What can I do?
A: Not to worry. Joel is a professional photographer (view his work) and can work with you to get images you can be proud of. We do charge more if we have to travel out of town.)
Q: I want to redesign my website, but I don't know what to do. Can you help me?
A: Don't worry! Tell us what you would like and leave the details up to us. For a small fee of $50 ($100 for sites larger than 10 pages), we will start by giving you a usability test for your current site and offer you a list of recommendations. It is up to you whether you will take those recommendations into consideration or not.
Q: I don't know anything about web design? Do you offer maintenance?
A: Due to our time constraints, we cannot offer maintenance. However, we offer sessions to teach YOU the basics on how to update your site if you do not know how for a fee of $150 ($200 if taught over the phone). The only extra charge will be the cost of the program (we recommend Dreamweaver). We are available for support after this session and are ready to answer any questions you may have through phone or email. This does not include design changes/updates, which we will need to work on ourselves.
Q: I want something FLASHY! Something with lots of cool effects! Can you do this?
A: No, but we also would never recommend to go with something too high-tech. Our goal is to give you something stylish, artistic, and clean-cut. You can achieve a professional look without cool effects while keeping your site user-friendly. Make your site easy to use, eye-catching, and informative, and people will want to return. The key is to create a good web user experience.
Q: Do you offer flash?
A: Flash is not something we currently know how to do, but we are working on changing that. Regardless, it is not something we recommend. Not all websites support flash, and among those that do, not all have a fast internet connection, which means it takes time for pages to load. This is one of the easiest ways to discourage users from returning.
It is not always a good idea to have something flashy and high tech. Sometimes users just want something simple with a strong sense of structure and space that will give them the information they need. Not everyone has the time to surf the web for a living. Most people have regular 9-5 jobs, and not all have computers at home. Many people surf the web during working hours and do not have time to wait for a page to load.
We place a strong emphasis on short download times. Nobody likes overly long download times, even among high-end users. Traditional human factor guidelines indicate 10 seconds as the maximum response time before users lose interest (this has perhaps reached a point of 15 seconds).
Q: I want scrolling text and animations, but I notice you don't have that on your site. Do you offer this service?
A: These are services we know how to implement if you so wish, but you do not see them on our site because we also do not recommend them. Not only do they tend to distract the user from the content, but users have started equating such designs with advertising, which they routinely ignore. Keep in mind that not all browsers support all animations, and sometimes they cause browsers to slow down when loading pages. However, there are times when text and animations can be helpful, and we can add them upon request.
Q: Why not go with one of today's click and build it on your own sites?
A: We provide custom designs that will specifically target your customers. It attracts the user's attention and stands out among the monotony we see today. However, if we feel this is best for you, we will recommend it to you ourselves.
Q: What if I don't like your design?
A: Then we go back to the drawing board. We want to give you something you and we can be proud of. We will sit with you and give you different design options from which to choose, but you have say all along the way. Remember, this is representing you, so you must be happy with what you are advertising.
Q: Do you provide domain registration and hosting?
A: No, but we can help you set up your domain registration and hosting with another company. We recommend to go with hostrocket.com for hosting services and with godaddy.com for domain registration. These costs are separate from the web design, and currently run as follows:
-- Domain Registration: 8.95 per year (+8.95 per year for private registration)
-- Hosting: $14.95 per month (the more advance you pay for, the less it costs.....as low as 6.95 per month if 2 years paid in advance); + 29.95 one time setup fee.

A: Yes, you can pay with credit through paypal. We also accept checks.
